I grew up in a farming community in the Mid North where I learnt not only the value of a good work ethic but also to have a pragmatic view on what was going on around me. After finishing a 12 month return of service to the electrical contracting company that I did my apprenticeship with, I set off to see the world, starting with NZ.
After a short period in Tauranga, I travelled to Rotorua where I put down roots and have lived since. After a variety of employment, my wife Cathy and I started our own business and 24yrs later, I decided that a career change was in order, and joined the team at Hallam Jones, where I have gained accreditation in the Life/Health insurance sector and am currently working towards my Lending accreditation.
When not working, I enjoy the outdoors, chasing a little white ball all over a golf course and beyond, relaxing with a good book and spending time with our growing family as they spread their wings and take on the world.
